History of St. Paul's Lutheran Church
|
St. Paul's Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod was established in 1937, with 23 people attending the first service held at the Civic club room in the library building. Four years later a permanent church building was erected to God's glory on First Ave. The church was dedicated to the service of God on March 15, 1942. This building served our congregation for 35 years after which it was decided to build a new church to meet our congregation's growing needs. The new building was dedicated to the Glory of God on January 27, 1980 and is our current place of worship. We are currently exploring the possibility of adding on to our building to accommodate future growth.
